Sherrie Tennessee

Sherrie Tennessee has 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry including the role of a massage therapist, nail tech, spa owner, speaker, professor, educator, and author. In addition, to receiving multiple awards throughout her career, Sherrie’s writings have been published in some highly-respected industry outlets, and she has spoken at many public forums. Sherrie is completing a Ph.D. and holds a Master of Business Administration. Ms. Tennessee is currently the Education Director of SpaSOS, where she conducts Spa Management, Wellness and Customer Service focused training. In addition, Sherrie published her first book in 2016; How to Open a Day Spa:31-Day Guide. Sherrie is a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) and Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) with the American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute – AHLEI. Sherrie is currently the Director of Recruiting and Training at one of the largest hospitality companies in the US.
